It was a pleasure reading this novel. I had no idea about the background of Norge Audio. But I own a Norge amplifier. In 1990 I bumpped into a Sonodyne twin cassette deck in a showroom in Bandra. I already had a set of 4 ohms sony speaker, so I bought it immediatly. Now i needed an amplifier so that I could fulfill my dream of owning a high end music system. I dont remember if I was recommended or I chanced upon the Norge Amplifier, I liked the the way it played in a shop in Dadar, the set looked simple but gave a quality outlook. I bought it and never regretted.
I dont use the system now, but it is one of my priced pocession (albeti with a broken volume knob). This article has only added value to my pocession.

Fantastic article of ‘historical’ value!

Like Pulastya, I too am a dedicated customer of Norge Audio, with a proud possession of a 1000 Gold amplifier. Mr. Bajaj’s dedication and passion for ‘quality’ can never be discounted as he would ardently carry out adding the small modifications (on aesthetics) that some of us, including me, would have passed on to him over a period of time.

The Norge brand is highly respected in India, and wish somewhere back there in Norway seriously promotes it there.

This is very true !!! We have so many postives 2 look into rather than just cribbing about things. We have around 28 states with 07 union territories , Different languages , A wide variety of flora and fauna which are diversified in nature , And more imporatant we do have loving people around us .
