One of Kampalas biggest slums is home to some of the country’s best female boxers. In this slum, high unemployment, alcoholism, drug abuse and sexual violence makes everyday a struggle for survival. The sister Diana and Helen have been training in this club for years. They hope that recognition and gold medals in international boxing tournaments will take their familiy to a better place one day. The sisters mother, Sarah, has for years been the sole provider for the families 20+ family members. But to get international recognition as a boxer is hard. It is even harder if you are a women and come from a place like Uganda where the national sport committee does nothing to support you. Despite all the hardship, they refuse to give up on their dream. Everyday they go back to the gym, determined that they will make it one day.
